B-1/B-2 Business/Travel Visa
B-1/B-2 Business/Travel Visa
The B-1/B-2 visa is a visa type for applicants seeking short-term business travel (B-1) or tourism/seeking medical services (B-2). B-1 visas are generally suitable for people who come to the United States to engage in short-term business activities, attend conferences, deal with real estate, or negotiate contracts. The B-2 visa is suitable for people traveling to the United States for leisure travel, visiting relatives and friends, receiving medical services, or engaging in other non-business activities. Normally, B-1 and B-2 visas are combined into one visa, the B-1/B-2 visa.
